Director of Strategic Initiatives
Tricia (she/her) is the Director of Strategic Initatives, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of Early Milestones’ strategic projects. Previously, she oversaw the Community Innovation and Resilience for Care and Learning Equity (CIRCLE) Grant Program at Early Milestones.
Before joining the team, Tricia was a program officer at Rose Community Foundation. She began her work there focused on child and family development and spearheaded the organization’s grantmaking in the Community Action Fund, which focused on immigrants, refugees, anti-hate, and anti-discrimination. Most recently, she oversaw grantmaking in civic participation, economic opportunity, and health.
Tricia holds a master’s degree in international human rights from the University of Denver, and dual bachelor’s degrees in international studies and Hispanic studies from Washington College in Maryland.
Originally hailing from the Philippines, she has also lived in Japan, Delaware, Maryland, and Idaho, and is happy to call Denver home. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and climbing with her husband, reading, gluten-free baking, and video chatting with her niece and nephew.
