Who is conducting this research?
Early Milestones is collecting and analyzing data with the help of other experts. Many partners are helping to recruit participants across the state.
How will my answers be used?
Early Milestones will provide summarized data to the office of Governor Jared Polis, the Office of Early Childhood, state and local policy-makers, early childhood councils, family resource centers, and other partners. Each will use the research findings to better understand the impact of this crisis on child care providers, educators, and families.
A quote from your survey response may be used in reports or social media. Any such quote will be presented without identifying information.
Who will have access to my personal information?
Your personal information will be accessible only to the Early Milestones research team, our independent contractors, and research partners at the University of Denver. We will remove identifying information before analysis or publication.
Will results from this study be available publicly?
Yes! We will develop a variety of reports and resources from this study. Content produced from this study will be available on the Early Milestones website and distributed to partners, industry stakeholders, and survey participants.
I think I already completed this survey, do I need to complete it again?
It is likely that you completed a similar survey during the first wave of data collection, which took place throughout the summer of 2020. Whether you completed the first survey or not, we ask that you do complete this one. Your participation will help us understand not only the big-picture impact of COVID-19 on early childhood, but also what has changed since the first round of surveys.
Is this survey related to the Child Care Relief Grant (CCRG) program?
Our survey is not associated with Colorado Shines’ Child Care Relief Grant (CCRG) program. For more information about the CCRG program for child care providers, please click here to access the FAQ sheet about the grant and how to apply.
