In 2023, the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) selected Early Milestones to support the development of Colorado’s Universal Preschool Program quality standards and design a plan for a Resource Bank that reflects high-quality practices. We’ve assessed providers’ readiness, advised CDEC on rules, and engaged stakeholders in rule development. In partnership with Early Years Forward, we are developing Resource Bank content to support providers in implementing the quality standards. Throughout summer 2024, we will gather information from preschool providers to inform Resource Bank content development.
