The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the largest program of its kind in the United States, and, along with the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs, has been a critical support for families through the coronavirus pandemic. This interview with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s senior policy officer, Giridhar Mallya, discusses how pandemic-related legislation may impact programs that help children and families have access to healthy and affordable food.
