Rio Blanco County’s Department of Human Services is shifting to a differential response model for child welfare services in the coming months. This approach, which recognizes that differences in family needs and strengths require unique responses, will give social workers additional access to enhanced screening, support planning, front-loaded services, and other supportive tools.
