China took drastic actions to slow the spread of coronavirus earlier this year, closing all schools and child care centers. At the same time, the Chinese government provided free educational resources and guidance for all teachers and parents. This article from NIEER’s Preschool Matters Today proposes that the US could learn from China’s experience in supporting early education while battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
