The Coronavirus Puts Child Care Sector in Need of a Bailout

Even before the Coronavirus outbreak, the financial stability of child care centers across the country was fragile. With state governments calling upon providers to step up and support the families of workers essential to slowing the spread of COVID-19, legislators from Massachusetts urge their fellow lawmakers to ensure that child care centers are given stability during this crisis — and after it has passed.
