More than 479,000 children in Colorado ages 5 to 11 would be eligible for the pediatric vaccine. The state’s goal is to vaccinate half of them with the first of two doses by the end of January 2022.
Now that COVID-19 vaccines have been authorized for use with children between ages 5 and 11, the state aims to vaccinate a quarter of a million Colorado children by early 2022.
