Colorado lawmakers made it to the halfway mark of the legislation session last weekend, with plenty of work still to be done. Gonzales and Meltzer explore the steps lawmakers have already taken to increase school funding, address the teacher shortage, and expand access to higher education. Colorado’s Department of Early Childhood was created earlier than expected and will help attain these goals, along with universal preschool being a top priority for Governor Jared Polis.
