Milestones partners to bring evidence-based and promising programs to scale in Colorado communities. Several foundations supported Milestones to design LAUNCH Together – a first in the nation public-private initiative which aims to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through a “no wrong door” approach to coordinated community-based services.

Systemic Change

We know meeting the diverse needs of children and families is no easy task. Therefore, Milestones collaborates with diverse partners in the public and private sector and across all early childhood domains to promote shared knowledge and goals. Milestones is partnering with the Early Childhood Leadership Commission in Colorado’s Office of Early Childhood and other organizations (Civic Canopy and the Marsico Institute for Early Learning and Literacy) to revise the Early Childhood Colorado Framework.

Communicating What Works

Milestones believes in the exchange of ideas – to build knowledge, spur action and strengthen partnerships. Ongoing learning is a core Milestones strategy in our effort to bring the latest research and innovation to help address pressing issues in early childhood. Milestones is currently researching national education and engagement tools and state strategies to help inform Colorado’s public awareness efforts for parents and caregivers.
